This community houses the learning objects produced by CSUN faculty who were awarded grants in the ScholarWorks Digital Learning Object Grant Program.
The Learning Objects Collection Pilot was undertaken to preserve and distribute digital learning materials created for CSUN instruction. A digital learning object is a pedagogically-rich resource that can be reused to support learning. Digital learning objects are:
Modular: they aim to achieve a discrete learning outcome within a unit of instruction
Extensible and interoperable: each can be expanded or integrated with other materials and learning objects.
Platform-independent: they can be used on Mac, Windows or Linux systems and do not require a special software environment to function.
